An exciting new project for Richard is Slide by Slide the idea
of fellow trombonist Kevin Grenfell. With the backing of a
high-class rhythm section including some of Britain’s top
musicians Slide By Slide is a trombone duo playing a diverse
repertoire from show songs and ballads to jazz of varying styles
and contemporary tunes.

John Everett’s Red Dragon Jazzmen have become one of the
Midlands’ most popular traditional jazz entertainments over
recent years. With a professional presentation of stylish vintage
jazz this band delight audiences everywhere the play.

The Old Fashioned Love Band

All their members have one thing in common – their love of New Orleans
ensemble jazz, . All widely experienced musicians in their own right, they
place emphasis in the band’s style on the kind of collective improvisation
pioneered by the likes of George Lewis and Bunk Johnson in the USA, and
Ken Collier in the UK. The result has been a highly entertaining and
professional outfit, proving immensely popular with jazz audiences. |
